I'm still getting used to drawing with a phone, this is the second drawing i've done so far but i'm having fun anyways.

update from last post, I've blocked all social media except for newgrounds and sheezyart :] I'm already doing much better, I had so much stuff eating me up from some people I knew and my deranged social media use that completely stopping the use of it made me feel instantly better xD I had already taken a big social media break before so I was aware this would happen. also I fainted twice today, it was very confusing and I still don't know why it happened but I'm feeling rly good anyways.

I'm feeling a little lonely though but I'll get used to it.

edit: Spoke about it more with my mom, I still will be trying to avoid the internet a lot but most of the rules in the original post are applied to discord and other social media, I only use newgrounds for art and talking about art so everything should be fine here.

I'm still working on my mental health, I'm doing well now but I fall back down into rly deep self destructive behaviour quite easily, you might see it reflected in my art sometimes but...

newgrounds is my safeplace, I love it here and I want to interact with you guys still in the forums and all that, I'll just probably don't contact people outside of here!

I need to make friends IRL now or I'll be so lonely...

yep, my drawing tablet died! no drawings til I get a new one which will be pretty soon! I'm most likely going to be annoying and stream a lot now and I'll be relearning to draw traditionally :]

I'm back to twitter, catch my random thoughts on there!! I still try to limit my internet use though, I try to scroll as little as possible but I do post whenever I want LOL I recommend to everyone to limit your social media use, I limited mine by deleting all the apps and going out a lot more. I still need to get more hobbies though.

also I'm trying a new makeup and fashion style, what do you think? I want to move on from my emo look to a more mature one, but emo will always have a big influence in my art :) any advice on makeup and fashion is appreciated, I want to look pretty now even with this face I got. at least I can try and dress well! oh and I'm sorry I look so serious, I don't look very good when I smile but I think my resting face it's ok.

I was gonna do one of those october challenges but I didn't end up finding one to do in time, there was this cringetober thing I thought about doing but I wasn't super sold on the list and I only found out about OCtober a few minutes ago... is it too late to join? I'm too shy to share my shitty art anyways and it'd be a little embarrasing to be late T_T but I also long to do something that a whole community does TOGETHER so bad.... BUUUUUUT I'm also scared I won't fit in and everyone will think "what the fuck is this guy doing here"?! but I'm also aware that I'm too irrelevant for that to happen but the "what if" thoughts kills me lmao..............................

I thought about drawing OCs for other people but I often don't have the skills to draw how detailed their characters are and make it look good or I just worry too much about them not liking it because of how simple my current art style is (latest drawing's style).

Someone tell me to stop being a pussy and just do shit already instead of overthinking it pleaseeeeeee??????!!!!

tbh I should probably do more collabs, art trades and draw together with more people to fulfill this need for solidarity and community but I don't know a lot of artists yet :( but I mean, if anyone is interested let me know? :] if I was more active in the forums this wouldn't be an issue LOL but anxiety makes me weak and pathetic.

As the title says, I'm working on a website without any html knowledge... at first I started using premade layouts but today I made my first page by myself X_X... it's not the best but I worked hard on it!! now I just need to make and find some graphics to decorate it because it's a little simple rn, I want it to look cluttered and disgusting once it's done!

ig you can check what I have so far here but beware that's it's very ugly, unfinished and very beginner level LOL

(btw it's not mobile friendly yet so don't check it if you're in your phone unless you want a very buggy experience)

this one below is made with a premade layout, I also used this layout for my dev page but changed the background and drawing because that one is not that important... I will work on redesign this one from scratch once I'm done adding the picture/selfie archive, the sketch/doodle dump and the animation dump, and even after that I might work on redesigning the blog options first because that one is the ugliest.

I must admit I'm too scared to ask for help making this, I am super slow at learning things so I'm just trying to do it by myself as to not bother anyone...

It might take me months 'til I reach a point I'm happy with this project, but it's such a good time waster that I'm starting to fall in love with the process of it regardless of how shitty the results are.

So I finally started working on a drawing!! below are so sneak peeks of the sketch and some lineart!!!

I decided to start with a drawing made in flash cs6 because usually those take very little time to finish and it's not a lot of work!! besides I love this brush so lineart is super fast, I need to find a program that has something similar soon :] I wanted to do that 2000s alt style but it didn't come out right, so it's more like my usual style! does it still have that old internet feel to it? I don't think so, but I'm having fun........ although I don't have a lot of discipline so I'm already starting to run out of energy and I just started!! also I think her design might be too simple here, might add a few accessories later, maybe some thigh highs? I'm worried it might look too cluttered when I add the colors (she is a zombie and has a lot of colored patches on her skin!).

if everything goes right and I don't give up on it, it should be posted in the next couple of days!

I was gonna join that weapon collab with this but I think she might be wearing clothes that are too revealing for it btw :( I wanna join a collab or do something similar soon because usually those push me to finish a drawing.

so I'm thinking about drawing again, I've been only sketching random things and such but I have been completely out of ideas... I'm thinking about coming back with a simpler art style and to draw only for a hobby and for fun so I can regain my love for art again! before I completely stopped drawing, it kind of felt like a chore and it still kinda does but I'm hoping that art will feel nice and good to make again if I just push myself to draw simpler, sillier stuff you know? I might take 1 or 2 requests for simple drawings when I get everything figured out, the style I have in mind is kind of like my flash cs6 drawings like the ones below but with more shading maybe? idk if I'll keep using flash, we'll see...

I'll never be a master at art, but I want to enjoy to process of creating stuff because it was once the thing I loved the most in the world and I currently really need something like that again.
